Pillow (plummer) block ball bearing units are made composed of a cast iron housing with an insert bearing that can be fastened to a support surface. Applications with both constant and changing rotational directions can use this variation. It is locked with an adaptor sleeve, making mounting onto the shaft quick and simple.
