BEARING SERIES: 2TS-DM
PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS
- Matched sets that run in tandem face-to-face
- Offered in Imperial (Inch) and Metric (ISO) sizes
- TS (Tapered Single) sets are the most basic and most widely used type of tapered roller bearing
- Use where combined radial and thrust load capacity is required
- Provides low friction during operation even under the most severe conditions
- Generates a seating force that pushes the roller against the cone while rotating
- Ideal for environments where high speed and heavy loads occur
- Have positive roller alignment that ensures true rolling motion
- Seating force prevents the rollers from skewing off apex
- Appropriate inner and outer ring spacers are supplied
- Size range: 0 to 8 inches
- Steel spacers are used to create Bench End Play (BEP) or Preload (BPL)
- Spacers preset during maintenance
- Used in Hydrostatic axial piston pumps and motors
Each tapered roller bearing assembly contains four interdependent components
- The cone (inner ring)
- The cup (outer ring)
- The tapered rollers (rolling elements)
- The cage (roller retainer)
