Universal Air Couplings

Chicago-style universal hose couplings and accessories are not for steam, but rather water or air applications. Crowfoot couplings, universal couplings, and jackhammer couplings are some other names for them. Two couplings are pressed together and then twisted a quarter turn to join universal couplings. Replacement gaskets and coupling safety clips are examples of accessories that help stop unintentional disconnections. To seal universal couplings, press them together and twist them a quarter turn. Hoses and air tools are connected to compressed air supply via universal hose connectors.
