Hose Menders
Hoses are connected to pipe in multipurpose hose assemblies using menders and multifunctional rigid barbed hose connectors. To make hoses last longer, they are also used to fix broken hoses. These fittings are held in place by raised ridges, sometimes known as barbs, that grip the insides of hoses. A clamp or crimped ferrule is used to create a tight seal. They are frequently employed for low-pressure applications to move chemicals, fluids, and air through a pipe system in the food and beverage, marine, and chemical processing sectors.
