Gear Racks

Maxtran's gear racks are constructed from cold-drawn 1018 steel bar stock and have a standard 14-1/2° pressure angle. We manufacture and offer our steel gear racks in 20 through 3 Diametral Pitch and with pressure angles ranging from 14 to 1/2°. To enable matching, stock lengths are cut long. racks with metric, circular, and 20° P.A. pitches or custom-made materials. If necessary, ends can be milled to match for continuous operation. 'SR' is a catalog number that denotes a square rack. Catalog numbers that begin with 'RR' denote racks that are rectangular in shape. To enable matching, stock lengths are cut long. Round steel gear racks with metric pitches or custom-made materials.
