Leaf Chain
Leaf chains have a higher tensile strength than roller chains because they are made of several interwoven steel plates. For low-speed pulling, lifting, and balancing of heavy loads, these chains are appropriate since they mount onto flat face pulleys rather than sprockets. In elevators and other counterbalance applications, leaf chains are frequently utilized for lifting in forklifts.
