Variable Speed Belts

As the drive system accelerates and decelerates, variable speed belts adapt to changes in pulley width and speed. They measure wider in relation to their thickness and are more stiff throughout the belt's width. More crosswise stability is offered by this design, which also permits lengthwise flexibility to bend over pulleys with small diameters. Maxtran's variable speed belts include a stiff top cover that can tolerate heat and oil. Higher horsepower applications with broad speed ranges or high heat exposures are appropriate for them. Band saws, milling machines, and conveyor systems that have the ability to accelerate and decelerate frequently use these belts.
