Fractional HP V-Belts [2L-3L-4L-5L]

Light-duty belts for fractional horsepower (FHP) applications are known as fractional v-belts. They come in three primary sizes. The nominal top width of a 2L section is 1/4" and its nominal thickness is 5/32". Light-duty belts for fractional horsepower (FHP) applications are 3L section V-belts. The nominal thickness of these is 7/32" and the nominal top width is 3/8". Light-duty belts for fractional horsepower (FHP) applications are 4L section V-belts. The nominal thickness of these is 5/16" and the nominal top width is 1/2". Light-duty belts for fractional horsepower (FHP) applications are 5L section V-belts. They feature a nominal thickness of 3/8" FHP and a nominal top width of 21/32". Single belts known as V-belts, denoted by a "L," are utilized in drive systems that normally run at 3 HP or less. Appliances and HVAC equipment frequently use these V-belts.
