Classic V-Belts [A-B-C-D-E]
The most tried-and-true belts in the business are the classic V-belt. For power transmissions, high temperature V-belts aid in resolving alignment and slippage issues. These days, they are also the most widely used belts for power transmissions. Power distribution from a primary power source, like a motor, to the secondary power unit is the main purpose of a traditional A, B, C, D, and E v-belt. V-belts are excellent at offering the finest possible balance of traction, speed transfer, bearings, and belt life. The belt's trapezoidal, or "V," shape aids in tracking in the machine's similarly shaped grooves, preventing the belt from slipping off while in operation. In order to effectively manage the increased loads, the V-belt makes a deeper wedge while tracking in the grooves, which raises torque tension and power distribution. Temperature rises in tandem with friction.
