Tapered Roller Sets

In tapered roller bearing assemblies, the rollers are held in place by a tapered ring (cup) and cage (cone), with the cup acting as a stationary outer ring to support the rollers while the cone spins. Heavy thrust, axial, or radial loads are supported by tapered roller bearings. They are made up of a cup that acts as the stationary outer ring that supports the rollers while they revolve, as well as a tapered ring and cage that house the rollers. Tapered roller bearings are frequently used in mining, farming, and construction equipment because of their ability to withstand shock loads.
