Standard bore range fits up to 125mm/5" shafts & Hub diameter and suit almost all kinds of assemblies and sizes. Taperlock bushings are ideal for compact lightweight assemblies and offered by Maxtran in both of both metric and imperial shaft sizes. TL bushings are intended to allow sprockets, pulleys, or sheaves a dependable and solid connection by mounted to a 2-1/4 Inch shaft bore through the entire body of the bushing. The inside bore is secured to the exterior of the shaft by a precision machined keyway (most sizes) allowing higher speeds and load capcity while rotating.Taperlock bushings allow the same sprocket or pulley to use different shaft sizes because the bushings are interchangeable. This eliminates the need to keep many fixed bore sprockets in stock and provides more flexibility. Each TL Bushing comes equipped with grub screws that lock the bushing into place and increase component engagment for mounting to the 3.375 Inch tapered outside diameter. Every size of 2517 TL® Taper Lock Bushings is manufactured from high quality engineered Ductile Iron to handle heavy duty equipment used in power transmission, conveyor systems, textile and paper milling, gearboxes. pumps and compressor applications.
