- Federal law requires registration with the Department of Transportation (DOT) for anyone producing air brake hose assemblies with swaged or crimp fittings. The Jason 5050 Series hoses have been tested and meet SAE100R5 and J1402 Type All/FMVSS 106 requirements with the Jason 75 Series field attachable (reusable) couplings. Sizes 16 (7/8" bore) and larger are not included in the SAE J1402/FMVSS 106 standards
- Only approved field attachable (reusable) screw together couplings can be used on this hose for compliance with DOT FMVSS 106 requirements. No crimp couplings may be used on any airbrake hose without the end assembler testing, registering and complying with DOT. Proper End Fitting Care must be taken to insure proper compatibility exists between the hose and coupling selected based on the manufactures recommendation substantiated by testing to industry standards such as SAE J517
- Neither Mechanidrive nor the OEM endorses our hydraulic hoses and fittings to be used in any aircraft applications. Our hose and coupling (includes belts) product lines are not designed for any types of aircraft, including helicopters, commercial or private airplanes, ultra-light planes and lighter-than-air craft. If the user violates the above policy by using our product on an aircraft application, that user assumes the sole and exclusive responsibility and liability and Jason assumes no responsibility or liability regarding same.

Returns are only allowed for manufacturing defects and product damage. A 30% Restock Fee will be charged for all approved returns unless the product is dispositioned to be defective by our Quality Manager . All Shipping is non-refundable and any return shipping to our warehouse is the customers responsibility.
