The radial shaft seal has a double metal casing, an auxiliary non-contacting lip for oil or grease, and an SKF Wave lip . Rotating and stationary machine parts, as well as parts moving relative to one another, are sealed by radial shafts. The design of CRWHA1 seals includes a double metal case, an elastomer SKF Wave lip with a greater pumping rate to minimize heat production, a dust lip to enhance contaminant exclusion, and a garter spring to maximize sealing against the shaft. Small flaws in the housing bore are filled up by the SKF Bore Tite coating on the outside diameter of the majority of seals.
